Ingredients:
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp.
margarine
1 lb.
Velveeta (Mexican
pasteurized process
cheese spread with
jalapeno peppers,
cubed
1 (16
oz.) can tomatoes, chopped,
drained
Directions:
Saute onions in margarine. Add remaining ingredients; stir until process cheese spread is melted. Serve hot with tortilla chips. Makes 3 cups. MICROWAVE: Microwave onion and margarine in 1 1/2 quart casserole or bowl on high 2 minutes or until onions are tender. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Microwave on medium (50%) 9 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring every 3 minutes. Preparation time: 10 minutes; cooking time: 10 minutes.
