Homemade Bubbles Recipe

Ingredients:
1 qt. water
2/3 c. liquid soap
1/3 c. glycerine
Pipe cleaners or sm. plastic tubes

Directions:
Preschoolers especially will enjoy measuring the ingredients and stirring them gently to mix. Be especially watchful with the portion of glycerine. Shape the ends of pipe cleaners into a loop or circle, bending the remaining stem up. Show child how to dip the end into the liquid and gently blow through the loop or circle to make bubbles. This is an activity for outdoors. Warm children not to get the bubble solution near their eyes because it will sting. The preschool Sunday School has lots of the plastic tubes if you wish to use them instead of pipe cleaners. Also, use small margarine tubs to hold liquid.
