Grandma Rachel’s Fruit Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
Self rising flour
2 eggs
3/4 c.
sugar
3/8 c.
milk
1 tbsp.
vanilla
Applesauce
for filling

Directions:
Mix ingredients adding flour last, as much as needed to make dough thick, but not too thick. Pour into greased and floured 8 inch cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees until done, approximately 20-30 minutes. Cool slightly. Split cake through middle, making 2 layers. On bottom layer spread applesauce. Place top layer back over applesauce.
