Ingredients:
3/4 c. flour
1 c.
sugar
1/4 tsp.
baking powder
1/2 c.
salad oil
1/8
tsp. salt
2 eggs,
beaten
1/2
tsp. vanilla
1 c.
dates, cut up
1 c.
chopped nuts
Directions:
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into large bowl. Make a well in center; add salad oil, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until smooth; fold in dates and nuts. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan; pour batter into pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool, cut into bars. Yield: 48 bars.
