Ingredients:
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c.
soft margarine
6 oz.
chocolate chips
1 box
German chocolate cake mix
1 tsp.
vanilla
1 c.
nuts (optional)
Directions:
Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Mix cake mix with margarine and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Add vanilla and nuts. Put half in a 9×13 inch pan. Bake 6 to 8 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle chocolate chips and caramel mixture over crust and then the rest of cake mixture on top. Bake for 18 more minutes at 350 degrees.
