Fudge-almond Bars Recipe

Ingredients:
3/4 c. + 1/3 c. margarine OR butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 can (14 oz.) condensed milk
1 1/4 c. almonds, chopped
1/2 c. hot water
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Beat 3/4 cups margarine and sugar until well blended. Add flour and mix well. Press on bottom of 13 x 19 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt remaining butter and stir in cocoa. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour evenly over crust. Bake 25-30 minutes until center is set. Cool, chill and cut into bars.
